Audio Video Caribe opened its first retail store in Caracas, Venezuela over 30 years ago. Shortly thereafter, in 1979, we began our expansion. Several new locations were opened, including a location at one of the largest and most luxurious malls in South America (Centro Ciudad Comercial Tamanaco, or CCCT).

On March 17, 1988, Audio Video Caribe, Inc., was incorporated in the State of Florida as a wholesaler, in an effort to continue our expansion in the U.S. and Caribbean marketplace. In March of 2001, Audio Video Caribe Inc. began our expansion into retail here in the United States. That plan was to open a chain of high-end electronic retail stores in exclusive Florida malls. We opened our flagship store, under the name of Audio Video Communication Store, in the much acclaimed and anticipated Dolphin Mall in Miami.

By April, 2006, there were six AVC stores open in six major Florida malls. Growth projections call for doubling the number of locations within the next year. These expansion plans will give AVC significant name recognition as a high-end electronics supplier through the region.
